hey just got an 2004 lx470 something weird going on
when i take the keys out from the ignition, the hazard lights start blinking (no alarm sound), happens like 50% of the time. as soon as i put the key back in and turn the ignition on, it stops also the couple lights on the dash is always on any idea what it could be?

What is the security light doing when the key is in the ignition and what happens to that light when you remove the key?

In my 2006 LX uses a separate RF coil for the immobilizer inside the keyfob, and it seems like this issue might be related to the immobilizer functions. I wonder if you could pull out that little part and test it with the ignition without the key.
I'm sure someone will be along with a MUCH better idea of how to actually fix this, I'm just thinking out loud based on what I learned when I added replacement keys to my LX.

Thanks man, the security lights blinks when there is no keys on the ignition , after the key is inside and its on the light is staying as red

If the light is ON when the key is in the ignition, something is wrong with the imobilizer system. I think it's supposed to blink slowly when the system is ready and blink fast when the ECU is open and ready to accept a new key fob.
