LX 450 won't start help (1 Viewer)

Starter turn the motor over
Red Battery light is lit up above the voltage meter

OBD scanner does cannot connect to read codes

Battery voltage is at 12.3 volts

I just put in a new stereo

Check your "ALT S" fuse? It's a 5 or 7.5 amp? disconnect lead on new radio?

Do all the dash light still work when you turn the ignition to the "on" position?

All of the fuses check out under the dash and in the engine bay

The check engine light does not come on with the rest of the lights

It was the EFI fuse, I know I checked it

Could also be the EFI relay. I had trouble (twice) with that last trip in Big Bear.

if it doesnt start again its likely a bumper fluid issue, which is irreparable. in that case i'll take it off your hands for 500$ as a favor to you.
