I have an old Eddie Bauer nylon/aluminum cot. It sits 7" high, is 24"x72". I got it a swap meet for $7. Its why I love our little swap meet!
I've never looked up retail price. But I can tell you I use it I my tent and it is perfect! I also use it in the back of the 60 too. It is about
4 lbs, folds up into a nylon bag 4"x24" and about 1 1/2" thick. If you can find one, it is really great!

My buddy has a version of the Thermarest. Uses it on moto trips and loves it. Likes it better than a camp pad. Have not used it myself, still using pad.

make sure you get one with 4 supports. If there is a support at the middle, under your hips, it will be very uncomfortable. I've been using the Byer Tri Lite cot

I just found an inexpensive cot that is same as mine except it folds in half, mine folds into thirds.

LL Bean 'Allagash Plus Cot' lightweight, low to ground. only $49. That is about 1/4 the price of the others.
