Hey I would like to think I have been doing good :D

I mean really what have I broken on the trail besides a busted brake line, somehow developing a massive vaccume leak after having a backfire and aparently blowing out a gasket somewhere in the intake, nearly having the bumper pulled off, folding a set of rear shackles over about 30 degrees off vertical, having both the fuel pump and a starter fail on the same trip on separate days both times out on the trail. Pretty damn near every part of the wiring harness failing, pulling apart the front drive shaft a couple times and then just about beating the frame and the drive shaft apart the last time it happened, bouncing my top off a tree and tearing the bolts through two of the holes on the top, the mysteriously still soft but adequate brakes, and the ignition having to be run with a jumper I think the runner is holding together nicely :D




Um... I might aught to order two incase they also fit the rear output..

Mike I saw two silver lifted TRD Taco's on 35's this week. The one in Youngsville I thought was you around the 4 way at Verot and another running around the office here on Johnston with a roll bar in the bed. We need to catch up with these guys :)

*Center console (from a '77FJ40). It's a bit pitted but it works! :grinpimp: I bead blasted it, primed it and painted it satin black. $20

*ConFerr Grab Handle. Still has the remains of the ConFerr sticker on it. $35

*Rocker mounter sliders from Faultline. They were red. I sanded them and primed them. Never got around to re-painting them. $75

*Bolt on hitch. It has been coated in POR-15 (I think). It's just a little dirty. In excellent shape. $40

I would have thought that would have been gone for just the engine by now.

I forget, Was it a 2wd or a 4wd?
 
yeah i wish i had remembered, i spent almost that much changing the head gasket.

Sorry I should have mentioned that, 2wd. He is not very aggressive when it comes to selling it, but I talked to him yesterday and asked if I would post up again. It was $1500 before. I think it was x governor Foster's son's truck. When you have money to burn, well you have money to burn.:D

It is at my friends house. When Foster was governor, I used to see him fly in on various marinas where I worked and check on his boat projects. He collected boats. One good thing was that it was always his private helicopter and not on our nickle.

I guess its Brain, hard to understand his name on the voicemail, I called the number from the ad on the LA Sportsman.

oh ok, i know mikes care taker guy, leslie. he takes care of oaklawn and all the cars and stuff there. i live in franklin where oaklawn is, thats why i asked if it was here.
 
Need exhaust manifold or headers

I am looking for an exhaust manifold or a set of headers for a F engine. I tried to separate mine and ended up twisting the head off the bolt.

I also just rebuilt my Aisan carburetor and I don't believe it is adjusted properly so if someone has the time to check it out I would appreciate it.
