 thanks for sharing Jason I reached out to him to see where he/she is at. There was a local Jeweler with a 71 that looked just like this one he had tried to start a club back in 97, 98 we made one meeting and nothing ever become of it I'm wondering if this is his :hhmm:

Olivier is owner, its a North Texas project rig he dropped a 2F in it and started a disc brake conversion on the front end. Its not running as it sits. He has and extra F and drum axle along with alot of extra parts to go with it. He spoke to Dan a few years back and heard about the club.

He's off of Mudd Avenue. Call at 512-825-9348

no way!! not going back to push pull!!! going to use it on the passenger side. im going to use the old chevy style "t" steering where the tie rod connects to the tie rod end on the passenger side.

i hope so too, it worked for the solid axle gm 4wd trucks so it should.

the only weak link on it will be the stock steering arms.

I'm willing to bet that the 85 just has a bad AFM or wiring to AFM.

Still need a 305/16 or 315/16 for a spare before the GSMTR trip if someone runs across one. Thanks

You can borrow one of my 315/16 if you want. I don't know if it is on your way but I live about 4 miles off of I-12. I will be out of town so I don't need them.

Edit: I just saw your post on fastest route to get there. I live off of 59 and you could grab your parts on your way back. I know you probably want one when you leave Lafayette but I'm just offering.

You're a good man bud, thanks  If nothing turns up here I'll take you up on that. I certainly will plan to pick up the parts on the way home. :)
