Anyone need some center caps? I got these with a set of wheels I got from a guy here on MUD and have since sold the wheels. The buyer did not want the caps and I really don't have any use for them. They are not in the best of shape as you can see but they could be cleaned up a bit and painted. How about $5 (just so I can get a box and packing materials) + shipping or if we can meet up, you buy lunch? According to the original seller, these came off a '95 Runner.

I see some potential here. Wish you were closer. Do you take paypal?

Sure Ryan.....Paypal is fine. Send me your zip and I'll box 'em up and get a shipping quote for you. It shouldn't be much. Or if you go to BR at all, I usually go there one day per week (usually on Wed...sometimes on Thurs) and we could meet up.

Well, I don't plan on making any trips over there in the near future. Although, I am picking up some family in NOLA on the 18th of March if you want to hold them that long. If not, my zip is 70506. I'm in no hurry to get them. I just have some ideas on a direction I am wanting to go with the looks of my runner and I think they will fit into the scheme well. I was going to start cleaning and painting it but with me moving next month, I am holding off on that project.

Thanks.

Ryan and Mike,

I am a District Sales Manager and my District is the whole state of LA...I driving through pretty much everything from Lafayette to New Orleans on a Weekly basis. If you guys need any help transporting these things from A to B, let me know...

Eric

Ryan, no problem holding them until the 18th. If you want them earlier talk to Eric and see when he will be coming my way / your way. I can pretty much meet up with him any day / any time in the NO area. If you need to call me.....504-234-1256.

Either way works for me. I go back to work next Wednesday though and come back on the 17th. I will be at the NO Amtrak station on the 18th though.

Yeah, I'll definitely give you a heads up. We will be in town around 3ish.

Looking for a running (possibly re-built) 2F to make an easy swap into my 40. I have never re-built an engine and don't want the 40 laid up for much too long. So, my plan is to swap in a running (hopefully non-oil leaking) 2F and then take my time re-building my current engine so I don't totally hose it up!!
If anyone hears of one up for grabs, let me know. The closer the better.

Check with Cole in your area to see what he is doing with his. He bought a 78ish he was building up for a crawler. I'll look a few pages back to see but he listed some stuff here last year. You can find his email on the BSLCA website in the member list :)

lookin for a cheap LSX motor and some 1 ton axles (front 60, rear 14bolt) if anyone has any leads..

also still have all my parts off my 40 if anyone is interested...full drivetrain, motor, tranny, axles, etc, and a whole bunch of misc parts

4-Sale

Scot Carpenter is selling a road queen 80 with factory lockers. I spoke to him a few times when looking for an 80 and remember when he found this one in Baton Rouge he bought it from a Nurse who never knew it had lockers. He had planned to join the club but works in Alaska and our schedules just don't work out. Details and contact info is below. I have plenty pics I can forward you but here are a few.
Scot 337-857-6700 <scot.carpenter@earthlink.net>

It's a 1996 Toyota Landcruiser (Factory Lockers) with 197,000 miles.
It has the following new "Toyota" parts.

1. New windshield and gasket.
2. New dash light bulbs.
3. New idler pulleys
4. New belts.
5. New plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button.
6. New coil, coil wire.
7. New rotors, races, bearings and seals in the front end. Rear end didn't need it.
8. New fan clutch.
9. Changed all fluids from front to back to full synthetics.
10. New air filter.
11. Several of the engine hoses were replaced with genuine Toyota replacement hoses.
12. New 02 sensor (before muffler).
13. New radiator hoses.
14. New coolant.
15. New wipers.
16. New fuel filter

We have just had the unit professionally cleaned inside and out. It DOES NOT burn any oil. The oil pan gasket does leak a spot about the size of a quarter after sitting for two weeks. Tires have about 70% left in them.
I bought the cruiser when it had 192,000 on it and then did all of this work on it myself. I would like to get $6,000 out of it. I have more than that in it.

If you need to know anything else please don't hesitate to call me.
