While I wish Randy the very best of luck w/ the sale, Landry and I know this rig VERY VERY well as it is the rig that we went to Ocean Springs to look at. It was mostly fiberglass parts and had fiber resin in the floors as well as a quazy GM fuel tank. It was in very very very poor shape for anyone that follows the scene. If you're 18 and looking for :princess: and some mud, it's a perfect truck...o/w .. wow.

Good luck to him w/ the sale. I'd go ebay w/ it.

Thanks anyway Deryl.

Scott's probably hooking the trailer up right now....

Ummmm... if I hook up the trailer any more my wife will KILL me. I'm already deep enough.....lol.

You'll see soon enough.

Talked to Harold Guidry tonight and he was given a lead on a 69 FJ40 in Lake Charles an older man will be selling. It has been under a carport for the years he's owned it. He towed it down from Oregen when he moved to Lake Charles some years back. It runs and is in pretty good condition according to Harold. He is going meet with him tomorrow since he'll be there for work and will bring back the details and hopefully some pictures. Will post them here when he sends them. :)

I'd be interested in finding out more about this one. Please do post the pics and details when they become available. Thanks.

Thats a bad situation to get into with this rig. Nothing was done right on it and it had a severe case of bondo and fiberglass. Someone with some time and a whole lot of patience could pick it up cheap it would make a good trail rig. It was on Ebay three times and the first winning bidder should give his wife a huge thank you in saving him from a big mistake. She told him even though he was the winning bidder he couldn't buy the rig so he backed out. She saved his *ss.

I sure will. :)

Very nice guy but If I remember all the glass in that thing and the anodized wheels from the salt water... I'd give him $200 for the tires and call it a day.

Larry may be a better souce ... I'd pass.

No much good to talk about. For $800 or so it may be worth it to make it a trail rig. It didn't run and he said the block was full of mud so your're not getting a running rig.

Looks like a very nice rig. Looks like what Troy is looking for. :)

Thought about him. I emailed the guy to get the local listing...we'll see
