Noticed an white 80 4-sale on the corner of Verot and Pinhook at some used car lot.

Thanks John I'll check it out on the drive home today. :)

SOLD

Good set of 4 half worn 285/70/16 Yokohama Geolander A/T tires off the 80. $150 its a shame they stop selling them I actually looked for a set of 315's its a great combination road and light trail tire on par with the BFG AT's and actually liked them better.

:hhmm: "Cracker" could use a bumper like that :)

Is it a whole 40 series bumper Scott, or just the brush guard?

p.s. I still have the 42" hi-lift here if you want to swap the long one out. I have to find a pivot pin for it though, or you could pull the one from yours and put it in the 42" and I'll find one later.

Look at some of the old pics of the Troopy in the troopy thread.. if Albert doesn't want it.. it's urs.. Not my idea of a sweet 40 bumper tho.. although Corey loves his :D

..I'm good on the hi-lift.. gonna keep the 12-footer

thanks

I live right around the corner from there, so I have been passing that 80 for a few weeks now. I stopped by this weekend and it is a GREAT starter rig for someone in the market for an 80. It is at the Cars III lot, it is a 96 and it HAS the factory locker. It has not been modified at all thus far, the exterior is in really good shape, but the interior needs some serious TLC (front seats need to be re-done). I talked to the guy and he said that the asking price is $7900, I asked him what the no BS, cash price would be and he said in this economy they would probably sell it for $5k-5500...which leads me to believe you could walk away with it for about $4500. He said that it ran great and asked me if I wanted to test drive it, but didn't have time. Like I said...a locked 80 for this price in our backyard, would make a great canvas for someone.

PS - Jonna said there is not a chance in Hail that I can get it:confused:
