Miles Thomas is the owner. Is friends with Stephen Luke and own a boat shop in New Iberia. He bought the truck from Paul in Breaux Bridge. Cajun Off Road did the PS and few other things, it has no top as it was rusted and he threw it away. Running gear and body is in great shape as he did an on frame Resto on it. He lives off of fortune road behinf Chip's gas station . Was a nice guy and will show it to anyone that would like to see it. I told him Saturday we could take a ride or I'll get some pics and post them here as I'll try to pass by. You know me.![]()
What about the guy in Perry? I'd like to see his and find out what kind of condition it's in. I'd like to go out there Thursday afternoon if possible.
Just got off the phone with Jeff Menard with the nice tan FJ60 he will be putting it for sale and wants to offer it up to the cruiser community first. I'll post pics and more details when he writes back. From the tid bits I got off the phone it has a new motor, clutch, extra set of black rims and is a California rig. Asking $5800 He's keeping the FJ62 and is being moved to Houston. I asked him to bring it to the Musson event but he'll be in Houston Saturday. I'll see if there is a way he'll let us get it there.
Ernie's a good guy, spoke to him 45 min Saturday was really thinking of keeping it and joining the club. He wanted to make Sunday's meeting but had something going on. He knows of the Musson event and I think he'll come. I'll call and remind him, if you get to go tomorrow pump him up about coming I don't think it'll take much. I want to go but can't get away this week.
And I mean it!
Okay, who wants to buy my cruiser? I'm taking offers. Larry, give no one Ernie's number.
And I mean it!
Whoa big boy... how much does he want for it??
... unless I missed that.
