So what is the game plan? Are you gettting something else? Good luck with the sell. I am thinking about selling my 60 but the family doesn't want me to. I just don't have time for all of these trucks but I think if I sell it I will regret it when the kids are old enough to drive.
Me too. But I know I will regret it sitting in my yard and turning into a rust heap. I spend a little time a month spraying it down with corrsion block to keep it from rusting and that is it. Pretty sad.
For Sale: 1 1987 Chevrolet Single cab Dually. 454TBI, SM465 4 speed, Dana 70 rear axle, less than 3000 miles on new clutch, tuneup and brakes with receipts for all parts. Has Camper top but camper top needs some slight work on the door.

Did you find a better tow rig?
I saw a flock of diesel and gas 3/4 and 1 ton trucks cheap
coming back from TN seems alot of folks are unloading them with the gas $ I saw a nice diesel ford excursion for $5800 I would like to have had for a tow rig. Plenty could afford to buy it just not drive it.

Yeah, the dually was just too much truck, could nto afford to keep gas in it. Picked up a really clean f-150. the tow rating on it is way more than what my trailer and 4runner weigh.
Traded in my Accord on it, and they only wanted to give me 700 dollars for the dually. I have more money than that just tied up in the brakes on that truck.
I saw a seriously Bad ass Dodge I wanted but it was an indevidual selling it and I had tried for a long time to sell my accord and couldn't because of the 5 speed. So I decided it would be easier to just trade it in.

Just F.Y.I. there is a ’78 FJ40 in Deridder, La. on Ebay right now going for roughly $6,000.00 if you guys know of anyone looking for a truck. I don’t know if you can view the pictures from the attachment, but I have seen it and it looks like it’s in pretty good shape. Deridder is not that far. Again, just F.Y.I.

It is already to $8100 and seems a little steep. Says....mild surface rust but I see holes in the passenger rocker panel and a chopped dash......

I am looking for a stock 75-77 2F carburetor & stock exhaust manifold. The carb is going to be rebuilt so it doesn't have to be great & ready to run, just complete.

yes either an 80 series or a taco.
