Lost a window toady...and possible cause of slow windows in cold weather...

To me it seems clear that the rubber formulation in the window channels does not hold up over time. I would expect anyting other than replacement will fall short of a fix. The engineer who speced the window channels must have been the same guy who cooked up the air intake hose.

What about thias stuff Rubber rejuvenator

We used stuff like this on rubber feed tires, It would clean and soften the rubber. I think it would work well on the window seals.

The Amsoil Silicone spray I use is food grade for use on machines that produce food so I wouldn't worry about it.

Dont worry about it until you are camping out in Grizzley country.
