Why Selling? My friend’s getting rid of his 2016+ Land Cruiser, so I’m snagging that!

I’ve owned the vehicle for the last ~10,000 miles. I’m the third owner; the truck has spent its life in the Southwest (previous two owners in Nevada, my ownership in Socal).

Maintenance During My Ownership (last ~10k miles)
  • Coolant drain and fill
  • Transfer case and differential fluid service
  • Front and rear brake pads
  • Brake fluid flush
  • Transmission fluid exchange
  • AHC fluid exchange
  • Driveshaft greasing
Modifications
  • Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport fog lights
  • Rock Warrior wheels (including spare)
  • 5x 255/80R17 Toyo Open Country AT3 (less than 1 year old)
  • Land Cruiser 200 rockers and side steps
  • Escape Gear seat covers (front and second row)
  • Third-row covers included but may require minor modification to fit
  • Rear seat entertainment delete. Custom-designed delete bracket and cover
The Good
  • Zero rust, very mechanically very solid
  • The vehicle was exclusively maintained at Lexus its whole life until my ownership. You can pull the service records from Lexus owners website, but it covered everything, including radiator replacement.
  • AHC rides exceptionally well
  • AHC globes replaced within the last ~60k miles
  • Equipped with LC200 rockers and side steps—adding sliders would be straightforward
The Bad
  • Driver’s side mirror plastic cover is cracked and has been epoxied
  • The front bumper has its fair share of rock chips. The paint is overall in really good shape otherwise. It was definitely garaged its whole life.
  • Driver’s seat leather shows noticeable wear (no tears)
  • Driver’s carpet has a hole and shows some fading/staining
  • The valley plate has never been done. I boroscoped it a few months back and there is a very small leak, but nothing urgent I would say.
  • The AHC “sliders” are removed. This is a non-issue if you plan to run sliders, but you would want these if you don’t. I was previously running Slee sliders but took them off for my Land Cruiser build, sorry if you wanted these, they’re expensive!

Which Escape Gear seat covers did you order? I didn't see the LX on their website. I see an Equipt tag on them, did they make them custom? Would you sell those separately?

Did your front seats originally have the screens? What delete kit did you use? Any pictures of the backs of the front seats without the covers on?

Here is exactly what I ordered from Equipt (see below pic). You can’t see the front seat equipt tags from the angles of the pictures.

For the TV delete, I designed a sheet metal bracket (I am an aerospace engineer) and 3D printed a cover to match the shape of the seats and fill out the seat covers. The victory delete kit wouldn’t have filled out the space enough for the seat covers to fit nicely.

I don’t love the color of the 3D printed plastic, so I probably wouldn’t part with the seat covers, unless you had one or two parchment colored TV’s to trade. I can’t un-delete as I only have one working TV. The second TV broke and I tossed it.

Thanks!

So those are for a LC. I'll reach out to Equipt or Escape Gear directly.

I do have a set of mint parchment screens that I probably will never use, but I need to do some research on pricing.

Maybe we can work some kind of trade for your wheels/tires, seat covers and screen delete for my factory wheels, screens and cash? Send me a PM if you want to chat about it.
I would think this owner changed all here intentionally... people don't like the screens or OE wheels (yours are also for 16+ LC, not 13-15LX).
