The window frame on my driver's door flexes out too easily at the top. It looks like it is welded to the main part of the door where it meets the door. These welds look cracked, but I don't think that would allow the top of the window to move as much as it is. It seems as if the bottom of the window channel inside the door is loose allowing the window frame to pivot where it rises through the top of the door; but I can't feel anything loose on the bottom of the window track. Where and how is the bottom of the window frame anchored inside the door? Will this be an easy fix, or should I start shopping for a rust free driver's door?

prolly easier to fix than to find a rust free drivers door...there are brax at the bottoms of the window frame runs that attach to the inside of the doors. they could have broken, rusted thru, stress fractured, or just plain loose bolts- IIRC, those are spot welds on the brax...you'll have to pull the door panel off to get to anything, so start there, you'll see what you're up against then.
