Loose Mirror Problem - Not Shaky mirror - (1 Viewer)

I fixed mine similar to @thex1231- thanks for everyone's ideas.
What I did differently was compress the spring using C claps and a wood clamp.
Took 20 minutes from start to finish.

I say this in jest, but are these valve springs?:)
