I had P0401 show up, and was in the process of removing and clearing the lines. I noticed what looks like a cable with an eye coming up the firewall between the heater valve not connected to anything. The heater value has a lever with white paint on it that looks like the cable eye is supposed to fit around, but it doesn't snap into place or anything. It just sorta sticks up by the lever. I don't have great pics, but here they are:
Any help would be appreciated. I turned on the truck, nothing; turned on the A/C, nothing; any insights would be helpful.
