Going to tackle replacing my crankshaft and oil pump seals this weekend. The FSM calls for torquing the 30mm crankshaft nut down to 305 lbs/ft and I think my torque wrench maxes out at 120! Harbor freight has a big one for under $100 but I hate to buy something I am going to only ever use once. Does anyone have a 300+ lbs/ft torque wrench I can borrow for a day or two? Rental will be paid with a case of good beer!

Thanks,

Kris

Nevermind...got the HF wrench. Job complete.

Glad you got the job done. I would have let you use mine if I had one. Well now we know who to ask when we need one:hillbilly::doh:. Beer right back at ya.

It does max out at 300 lb/ft so I'm hoping there isn't anything on a cruiser that needs more torque than that!
