Building restrictions are tight because of this.

Also their is a covenant in the neighborhood against mobile homes / trailers

So, anyone know how I can get internet (other than satellite) in north Mission where neither Telus or Shaw apparently have service? I have a land line for phone (which is strange that I wouldn't for internet). One potential I'm looking at seems to be a bit remote... Xplorenet. Provides good service and high speeds. As for finding a property..... Move out of that hell hole lower mainland leave your shackles behind and enjoy a new start at a life.

I just sold my home in town and bought 3 riverfront acres for a very reasonable price. Plans for a 1600 sqft shop are tied into the price and I will be breaking ground in April

Yeah -wife just sold our place too- got pretty much ask so that is good and the one percent realtor was a bonus- saved like $15K in fees... Looking at a bunch of places on Thursday... Goddam- the thought of a real garage to work on my truck is pretty exciting...

Actually she is very good to me in that her ideal house would have one of those pull through car ports with a detached 2 car garage/storage in the back... The idea is that the garage would be mine to mess up and generally be a slob in without her worrying or getting pissed off at the mess/ general chaos. We will see if this becomes reality...
