Looking for parts pigs?

This is an FYI for pig owners. I hope it helps. Moderator, feel free to move this to an appropriate location if you think it needs to be moved.

I live in Billings, MT. I’m not real knowledgeable about Piggies, but I have seen three of them recently and all three are for sale. (Well, two are for sale and one is sort of for sale.)

Pig One is on Broadwater Avenue here in Billings. It is minus the motor and the cab is chock full of junk. Wow! Whatta project. The owner has the engine and he’ll let the whole thing go for less than $2,000.

Pig Two is on the north end of Sheridan, WY. The owner is a bit of a comedian (a very small bit) and he said he wants $7,500 for it. It doesn’t run, though. This is the one that I said is sort of for sale.

Pig Three sits in the SW part of Sheridan, WY, on Big Horn Avenue. It has had a V8 conversion, it appears. It’s a neat looking truck. I think he wants $4,000.

I can’t decide if I want to get one of these swine, so I’m standing aside. I'll hang with my '62 for the moment.

your title says parts pigs though. doesnt' sound like anyone is parting their pigs, but selling them whole and for that kind of money, someone would be an idiot to buy them for parts.

Fair enough. That one for $2,000 looked to me like a parts candidate.

The others, I agree - they are a bit spendy. I'm not sure how rare these rigs are.

I'm trying to be helpful, that's all. I'll check one out for someone if they want me to, as time permits.
