Looking for overland trips in NV (1 Viewer)

My group and I are going to attend Overland EXPO and are looking at going into Nevada for our two week follow on trip.

Could I get some suggestions of some good off road areas , ghost town explorations etc. I am doing outside research but would like to get some information from you who live there.

If you are coming to southern Nevada you could do the Mormon Well rd from 95 to 93 or vice versa. The trail is about 50 miles across. There is a nice visitors center and Ranger station at the 95 entrance. You could also do Alamo rd from the visitor center north about 75 miles to Pahranagat valley. From there if you are heading north you could check out the ghost town of Delamar off of 93. There are other trails close by as well near Caliente. The visitor center name is Corn creek if you want to look it up. Part of the Desert National Wildlife Refuge.
