Looking for disbursed camping spots in central/ northern sierras (1 Viewer)

We were planning to go to Sequoia NF/NP but want to try something new, further north. Maybe as far as Tahoe area. We will be gone next week for about 6 nights. Looking for secluded dispersed camping spot(s) recommendations. Anyone have any cool locations they don’t mind sharing? We are tent camping with my daughter. Near a lake or River would be awesome.

Beautiful spot! were you able to drive to that location? east of the lake at the falls?

I tried unsuccessfully a few weeks ago to find dispersed camping in the immediate vicinity of Lake Tahoe. Trail signs were posted “No Overnight Camping”, and there were signs warning of bear/mountain lion activity.

Yes any 4x4 would make it. As you are approaching the lake look for short turn off heading down to the river below.
Swimming, ledge jumping and water falls at least 3 sets of the above from that location.
