The measurement from the B pillar to the back of the tub is 16”, hope this is helpful for you.
Best
About 16” which gives me an extra 8” of leg room.

I reached out to Taterhead and asked if he remembered any details, here is his reply:
"Hello, I cut the cab at the seam behind the doors. Added 13" from there to create the cab. I just used 1" square stock and made a frame and just skinned it. For the frame, I believe I cut it where it raises up behind the seats and added I think 32" for the bed. I found a short bed from a 45 that was rotted pretty bad at the rear. I used the rear corners from the 40 to make the bed corners."
