hey,

mate in victoria is looking for some parts for an Fj40... 76'ish IIRC.

t-case (one piece)
drivers door
windshield frame

i have directed him here, hopefully he'll find this thread and clear up what he needs. could you point him in the right direction? that would be great:D

some of you will know him.

what kinda shape of stuff is he looking to get? mint-really good or some rust or....?
 
Crusty set me up with his link, i recently received a level 3 inspection for driving with out my doors on!
i am in need of a few parts for my 79 fj40


t-case (one piece)
drivers door (any condition )
windshield frame ( rust free? if there is such a thing)
stock mechanical fuel pump 2f

i think i can probably hook you up with everything you need....3 speed or 4 speed case? no looken to get rid of my spare 3 spd case but i have a couple 4 spd ones...we have some windshield frames, ill have to talk to the old man about which one(s) he wants to keep for himself...and i should have a mechanical fuel pump kicken around...i think. give me a call 250-710-6993 and we can probably work something out

that depends...ill be in edmonton for school pretty quick...ill be back for x-mas but ill be working on my bush truck trying to get my suspention cased and could be flat decking a minitruck with the brother in law...so im not really sure when i could do it lol
 
ya..i kinda wanted to get off the island and while there are some really good teachers at camosun...there are also some REALLY BAD ones as well...decided i would give NAIT a go.

yotawheeler are you going to be around later today (saterday)the most inportant pice would be the t-case then the fuel pump tire and the door at the bottem and the window frame some ware aswell the one i have will pass kind of but it will need a lot of work

guess i will stop driving the 40 without doors then...
looks like i need to fab up some aluminum half doors then...

You could just come buy mine . they need a bit of work but they're not too bad . Wouldn't mind getting that t-case as well.
 
still have that tcase for u... tranny is still bolted to it.. when do u want it...
as for the doors... i think i will make them...
have some 1/8 aluminum plate that i ordered awhile back still sitting around collecting dust...
