I'm looking for a mini truck for my shop truck. At this point not too picky about what type it is. (preff toy) Cheap, cheap. $1000 or less preferably needs mechanical work. If ya know of one gimme a holler.

His shop is in Neenah, near the intersection of Hwy 76 and Breezewood lane.
He has access to truck and trailer if it is to far to drive the beater. He should just buck up and buy Jim's yota mini/dump truck.

he wants a beater, not a total POS ;)

That statement begs a chit chat post on the accurate definition of beater and of POS. I agree Jim's is a POS but it also usually runs and gets him most places, thus qualifying it for beater status. Can one truck be both??? :D

true....and I've borrowed that POS a few times to get around....

no wonder my neighbors love me!

(and for those that don't know, Jim's POS is a 4" lifted 87ish mini with bald tires and a dump box :D )

SOmeone paid MONEY For that red thing?

Main and South Stree intersection south west corner Fond du Lac, there is a late 80's Mini extended cab sitting out for sale. It is flat black and ugly but you can make out the shape as in it still has bedsides and fenders and rockers. Price is on the windshield and started with a $1XXX. Looks to be a $500 truck if it runs and drives. Might want to check it out and hunker a spell with the gentleman to see if you can swing a deal.

Truck in Fondy sold last week for $1300, to much so no loss.

Brian and I are looking at one sun afternoon. Hopefully this one checks out. Mini and a parts truck w/ both diffs, motor, and tranny. $ seems to be ok if the truck is what he says.

How did it go?

bought it...good deal IMO...

white cab, black flatbed, cab in good shape, runs/drives great, included two spare tranny's, cases, and one engine, plus a complete POS rig for other parts. Perfect shop runner and light wheeler as it sits...just needs the seats replaced with something containing foam ;p

What year/s? No need for foam. Ryan has plenty of padding.

No picking on the fat guy......................

Actually the little sucker runs and drives great. I've already got the radio in..... hate silence. think I'll just leave this little sucker alone. Jim has a set of 4" springs but don't think I'm going to mod it up yet.
