nice. is that pinstriping or rubber guard strip I see. never saw that before on a LC.

Bomar, she is NOT running yet. My dad pulled her 360 miles on the tow dolly.

The story goes like this:
Someone here in the CLC forum saw it on Craigslist. I happened to look at the ad and saw it was my first cruiser. The guy I sold it to had her sitting up for 3 years and couldn't get it started. I called my dad and he paid the guy and towed it to his mechanic's yard. I headed down there 2 weeks later with my FSM and tools to try to get her started. My dad's mechanic had tried to get it started. When I arrived he told me that he checked the fuel pump and it was working. I then skipped that step and moved on to checking codes and connections and went through the entire EFI system. This took 2 separate trips from Oxford to Gulfport. On the second trip down there, when I had exhausted all the checks in the FSM, I decided to check the fuel pump. I loosened the banjo bolt on the fuel rail, jumpered the diag port......and NOTHING.....then tried to crank it......NOTHING but a few drips from the line.....I just about wanted to kill that knucklehead mechanic but realized that it was my fault from the beginning. I should have known to trust myself.
Next thing is to check the wiring in the driver's side rear wheelwell and directly connect 12v to the pump to see if it needs replacing or if the wiring is bad.
