I'd like to make a side note here...whomever is doing the math that "gas + hotel = 3/4 of the shipping bill" for got to add in either your plane ticket, bus ticket or shots in the mouth you'll have to take from truck drivers while hitching rides to B-burg.

Man, the thing is, with my stupid truck...it's always there for me when I need it. Never really lets me down, overall. Go on vacation, and forget about it. AC goes out, clutch hydralics gone, smog pump lock up...the list goes on and on. My truck wants to be dependable, but it doens't want me to have any fun.

Doc put it best, take a credit card.

I'ld take some extra fuel, water, & XM radio. Comedy station all the way man.....

BigSteve,
Glad to hear another cruiser is heading this way. I live here in Blacksburg, and like it very much. Goodluck on the ride down, I think you got some sound advice. As far as a mechanic goes, there ain't really any cruiser specialists, but there are a few 60 series trucks in town. I mostly tinker with my truck myself, but I'm FAR from a mechanic. If I can help any way when you get in town, shoot me a PM. I don't spend much time on the board, but I'll keep a look out for you. Oh, I got a brown 60.

Phil
