Gilmer.

Weather depending, I may just head over there and get my Texas fix.

I went 2-3 years in a row and it is usually a COLD bitch, but a fun weekend. The Trail Riders put on a 100% organized, fun event.

Cruiser club usually camps at Old Camp. Gilmer is great for Cruisers. Wagons that time of year are the best.

It takes around 5 hours to get there from here. Get there Friday, leave on Sunday. No reason to be at Gilmer more than a full day IMO.

Anyone?

no joy dude.

I wouldn't mind going. Lot's of our buddys will be there. Has been a blast in the past when I've gone. We could take the 10 man squad tent with the wood burning stove. We'll stay warm. Have to see closer to the date.

The one in Shreveport is the original and gets pretty rowdy at night. I've got a few stories from that place.
