Update: I'll be headed up to Raleigh on Thursday night to pick up a friend and check out his FJ40 project. We'll head down to Uwharrie Friday afternoon but leave Saturday after the raffle (or supper; whatever is later).

Looks like I'm bringing the FJ40. The 80 is ready to go if it looks like there will be rain, though.

Well, I finally got the transmission, but upon tearing the transfer case apart to swap to the replacement transmission, we discovered the transfer case was bad too! We’ll have something to talk about at Logan’s Run….
