Has anyone driven past group camp to see what is at the end of the road? It appears to be a campground area with a pier for sun bathing and swimming. A large parking area makes me think it is for public use. Might be a close place for the swimming/sun bathing activities. Zoom in on google maps and you will see what I'm talking about.
 
Yes. It is a place for you to picnic and the likes. Fishing , but not too sure about swimming. Have hiked all over that area in the woods. Infact i found a old gravesite from the 17 / 1800's . Be surprised what you find just hiking with no general care where you come out / go up there.
 
Dude, if it is in the URE mountain area chances are VERY good i have been there. Even if it was 25+ years ago.

So, onto the other part of your post. You have lost some girls now. Hmmm i wonder how and why ?

Kings MT is south of Gastonia but there is a Kings MT point that is in Uwharrie has some picnic sits and some piers. It is a peninsula in Badin Lake

According to the us forest service the place I'm talking about is a mile from the group camp. I will explorer on fri and scout around. Who knows, its the forest service they are part of the govt. and usually full of s***. :)

Its the place I was just describing, King Mt Point.... not sure why its called that since Kings Mt is almost in SC.

You pay for 4 new tires I need on my trailer from using it this year then you can tell me what to bring. I was going to pull my bike up there with another cruiser of mine, but now .
