So got to installing my Lock Rite this evening and all went smooth until I had to put in the last 2 springs. The first two shear pins I pushed over went over into the other coupler a good distance and the springs installed easily. The third and fourth shear pins went into the other coupler, but didn't go in far enough to allow the springs to go into place (in fact I lost one of the springs :bang: when it went flying). Anybody know why the last two pins won't go in any farther than they are? I've tried a pushing them in and out and that didn't work. I would assume everything is lined up since the first 2 went in with no problem. I guess I have a few days to figure it out until new springs arrive... Thanks...

Finally got them in...took a punch and tapped them over. I don't know if the grease I in there holding the pin was the culprit or if things were off just a bit, but the pins are in. Now waiting on a set of replacement springs to get here so I can finish it off.

Glad you got it figured out, get that thing running!!!

I think I hear the echo of the cursing from when the spring went flying. Glad you got past that point.
