location of the coolant drain plug in 1HD-T

Been trying to find it to change my coolant and thermostat but no luck? Does anyone know where it is, a picture would help greatly.

Ah, it is 1990 HDJ81 with 1HD-T

Bottom Lt corner of rad when underneath looking to front of vehicle
Should be a white plastic petcock, you may have to remove the skid plate.

Yes, that's the rad drain. I think he was asking about the engine drain, which is on the driver's side (left side) of the engine, middle, a bit under the manifold.
And the thermostat is at the end of the lower radiator hose, if I am not mistaken.

It's on the oil cooler just in front of the oil filter. See the attached diagram.

I didn't even know there was an oil cooler in the 1HDT engines till you posted this..

Is there a way to it without removing the fuel lines.

Take off the front tire.
Grab a deep socket 14mm, and extension
From memory, you should remove the rubber skirting and all will be revealed.
Very simple task on HZ and hdt blocks.

This is the engine block coolant drain, tough to get to.

I just had my engine rebuilt and the builder put a rubber plug on the nipple coming out of the oil cooler where is this supposed to have a hose connected too??
