Situation:
The LSVP on my 1986 BJ70 is leaking brake fluid. The replacement part number for the assembly is 47910-26040 and no part number for a rebuild kit is listed.

Question:
LSVPs were utilized on several models of Cruisers and trucks that appear to be of the same configuration (such as attachment to frame and brake lines) in the US. However, they have different part numbers, such as
47910-60060 for 1988 FJ62
47910-35080 for 1988 4Runner
47910-60070 for 1991 FJ80
Do they have the same mechanical configuration, but are internally valved differently to provide the braking proportioning performance tailored for each of trucks?

[i.e., Could any of these valve assemblies be interchanged with the BJ70 assembly at the penalty of non-ideal performance?]

Thanks

The oz 60 series LSVP look the same as the 70 series. I would find a used unit and ty it out. You can always bend the lever arm a little.
Or try an oz wrecker. These things rarely die so they would probably give them away(almost) for the price of postage

Rosco,
Thanks. Would you have contact info for some wreckers that I could try?

Rosco,
Thanks for the advice on checking a wrecking yard in your neck of the woods. River Murray Auto Wreckers were able to set me up with the valve assembly, brackets and linkage to axle shipped to my door for under $100 USD. It was an exact fit and works great.

For those interested, the contact info is

Spallet,
I had already purchased the part when I saw your post. Thanks for the help.
