I've finally got my truck running on vegetable oil.
There's the second coolant-heated tank, beside the passenger running board. I'm a bit unimpressed with the clearance I'm losing, but it's really not much lower than the frame. Oh well... it's another reason to get some better tires, I guess.
The engine bay:
I've got two Greasecar valves sitting on the frame beside the engine, a 2-micron Racor centrifugal filter, and a 26-plate flat plate heater which is providing the majority of the heat, just before the fuel enters the IP.
Switches and gauges:
From left to right: fuel suction gauge to warn of filter blockage, temp of fuel in tank, fuel level, and fuel temp at the IP.
It still needs a few tweaks, but I'm happy to say I'm on my way to running on recycled fuel.
