If the shop can’t figure out what parts they need… they may not be the ones to undertake it.
 
I used one of these on my buggy…
Simple to install with couple flares. Also won’t drain battery like the electric button ones.
*note this will lock brakes up enough if you drive with it shut, you will make brake pads heat up….. did it once on trail…. Believer!

A LONG time ago one of the locals, who happens to be a plumber, showed me a rather unique line lock setup in his 40. He had four of them, side by side, between the driver and passenger seat, plumbed to the four corners of the truck.

He said that in a limited traction situation he could manually lock whichever tire was spinning, forcing the differential to apply more pressure to the tires that had traction without the steering issues of locking differentials. This fascinated me conceptually, but I never got to see it in use.
