Lights, lights and more lights? (1 Viewer)

So on my 88 fj62 the battery light, brake light and the AT oil temp light all came on at the same time and stay on when running... could the cause be the charge light relay?

Your alternator is going belly up.

When the lights come on use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the battery.

Bad alternator, I could only find a rebuilt 80 amp at my local parts store... but everything seems to be good now... thanks again... you guys are awesome!
