Anyone ever lift their pop up?
I have your basic 2001 Coleman and it has 13' rims and thin tires. On wash board dirt roads, it is not an ideal pull. Also it has been very close to getting damaged and I want to get into more places that I have seen on back roads.

The springs seem easy enough to change, but the wheel wells don't seem that large to put a decent tire in there.

Any pictures of your rigs? Thanks

I would also like to put Yakima cross bars on it. Anyone have pics or install advise? Do the back plates go inside the camper over the interior cross members?

Wow, don't think I have it in me to do such great work as that, but thanks for the links, looks like some great reading and research.

Did I say Wow, that is a great conversion. Simple enough, but function looks great.
