Where did you get these numbers from??? Most people run more along the lines of 5* caster with larger tires.

5 degrees is usual for larger tires, to get better control and ride, on your vehicle, reazon, larger tires ..

But, if you check any alingment program ( as Bear ) you can see and advice the stock values of caster for our TLCs ... and in the real life you don't need more caster than that .. ;)

I'll agree with that.. for smaller tires that is all you need..
Larger tires more caster is nice ;)

Where can I find this bishing you're talking about? Also, is a shackle reversal kit bolt on, as in..if I don't like it, I can remove it?

Note: SR kit isn't totaly bolt on, you need to weld it. And you need to remove the front stock shackle brackets on your TLC, maybe you can remove, but is not easy ..

Build your own shackles. 2" by 3/8" barstock and some square tubing, that's what I'm in the process of doing right now.

I agree with him : ) Shackle lift isn't the best but if you can get the steel and you can do the welding its almost free.

Although when we made them for our yotas we used 2.5x.375 (3/8) and 2.5x3x 180 wall. Its all mild steel. Cut them to the hight you want (stock + .75x?? = lift) You have to figure the shackles won't give you true lift. I just use 75% as a rough estimate of actuall lift.

Although if I was going to spend the money, I'd either buy the reversals or hehe. . . make my own : )

I meant to put a j/k, but need and answer in there with it..but it got cut off or something so i jst forgot about it. Thanks though...so with that, I will be able to use the 40 series 3" shackles, right?

Well dadgum, which of them do I use? About 10 of 'em to choose from...

i assume you are putting these on your 60??? I think the spec of a 40 shackle and a 60 shackle are quite different.

Ok if you buy the 288-96 extreme shackles 3-1/4" ( with ) you must need use 289-60-S buschings ..

But if you buy the 288-92 exreme shackles 3" ( with - I buy this, SOR haven't the 288-96 at this time ) you must need to use 289-60-C

that's it .. :D

Hey amigi Alka!

Did you ever make the 40 extreme shackles work on your 60?
What bushings did you end up buying?

Gracias
