Lift installed....rear air bag delete....warning lights on ?

I am having a heck of a time with my suspension and the "check Suspension" warning on the dash. The shop I had do the install of my Dobinsons MRR kit did the airbag removal spring kit and took out some of the components. They did not do the best job and I think this was their first GX460 (not that they told me that before we started). Now I have the levelers tricked but still not able to get the warning light to go away.

I think I need some help to understand what items I need to add back, so I can just solve it myself. Maybe someone can link a schematic of that system for a 2017 or even a quick summary of the system components. I have what I think is needed but may have to purchase some used parts that were thrown away. Sucks to have a warning light on an otherwise new vehicle

Again, anything removed besides the front spring/shocks, rear shocks and air bags, everything else should remain on your truck

thanks...just trying to make sure everything is there I need. Without knowing what they took out, not sure if everything is there

Nothing other than the air bags should have been removed. I unplugged the rear shocks (single piece and left the front control in place as well (there is a piece that sits on top of the front struts, but rear is all contained in the shock). I can't think of anything else they would have touched.

You can unplug the front shock controllers and everything will be fine. No errors will show up.

As for the rear, you only want to remove the airbags, leave everything else in place. Add some spacers to the height sensors in the back to make sure your headlights are level and the air pump isn’t going constantly when unloaded (when loaded up with gear in the back, the air pump will start up again as it’s trying to raise the rear of the car to level).

Found 2 pcs that might be kind of important... looks like they pulled these off and threw them in the box o parts. I will see if I can find where these go

Those are the front shock adjusters. You don't need those installed. I removed mine and have no error lights.

Those are the front strut controllers. I left mine plugged in, but based on what KJ6IRM said you can leave them disconnected.

Beat to the punch on replying. Can't delete so enjoy two posts saying the same thing.

Thanks. Oh well I will keep investigating it

No other parts left other than shocks. Getting ready to head out but I will try and trace the whole system later and see what is unplugged in back

I think the two most important things are make sure the air pump is still installed and plugged in. And make sure the height sensors are still installed and hooked up.

You can see the rear hight sensors here: ClubLexus - Rear Height Sensors Pics
And you can see the air pump here: ClubLexus - Air Pump Pics

May also want to check your fuses in case they pulled any of them to disable something. I think this was common on the 470s, but not needed for the 460s.

Cool! Gald it was an easy fix.
You should add spacers to your rear height sensors to level out our headlights and keep your air pump from going off.
Did you ever find a way to keep the pump from kicking on when the back of the vehicle was under load? Did you try the last ideas posted in the the Club Lexus forum (How do you disable dash lights after removing air suspension/AHC? - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion) by oldgx460 on 5/8/20 or by Acrad on 5/7/20? Thanks

I have not found a solution yet. I need to take the time to look at the wiring diagram for the air pump. See if there Is a way to disconnect one of the wires or disconnect all of them and use a resistor to trick the computer into thinking the pump is still there.

On mine (2016), I found that unplugging the compressor did not cause any error codes or dash lights. If you unplug any of the solenoids for the air manifold it will cause errors.

I actually removed the compressor - and left the stock air manifold and AHC ECU there.

I remember someone else talking about that months back on GXOR. Could you post a picture of how much of the compressor you removed? I know this is an aftermarket compressor but did you just remove the motor part and left the rest in place in the bracket?
