Guys we have decided to lift our 97 FZJ and need some input. I would appreciate some feedback from you 80 guys on your experience with lift and tires. I am currently thinking of the OME 4+ 3.5" lift and 35" tires. It looks like a bolt on that I could handle. What issues might I run into? Any advantages (other than the obvious) of running 33s instead of the 35s? Thanks for any thoughts.

Sorry I did not see this.

I think an OME suspension is still the best way to go.

Get OME Heavy fronts and Medium rear and it will sit level.

315's are a great size. I think you will always wish you had done them if you were to do 285's.

You need caster correction bushings too. That will be the only part you can't do with hand tools.

I have posted my tips on how to do the kit on here somewhere.

As for purchasing, most all the Cruiser vendors that support Cottonland sell OME

Bessie is running 2.5inch heavies front and rear with a 1.5 Metaltech spacer up front. We are using the BFG KM2 31575-16 and I think it is a awesome tire and looks great on the truck.

Thanks for the reply guys. I went ahead and ordered the OME lift. I've been very pleased with the OME lift on my 60 so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The lift should be here next week so hopefully next weekend I can get it installed. We also went with Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs on side biter rims in the 315/75s. I've never used the MTs but hope we will be pleased. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks - Chris.
