Horsepower 250 hp @ 5,600 rpm.
Torque 260 lb-ft @ 4,400 rpm

Thats the factory rating. The motor has nice power. To qualify this I gotta add my new motor I am going to build is going to be around 400 hp and 450 ftlbs. This is by far the smallest HP motor I have done besides my 22re. Its great for rock crawling I just want more HP. Do I need more HP? Probable not but it will be fun.:bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:

what about an FZJ80?

Yes, it will fit 2nd Gen 4Runner with some modification on engine mount. If you want the detail, go to yotatech.com and search under Cebby's name. He installed one on his 2nd gen 4skinner.

Bump for a sweet setup, would beat my 2.4 I have been playin with for a year.

Wish I had the flow to be different.

Going on its last run in a few weeks. Then its most likely coming out.

Yes, Foward Air is available in Minneapolis.

I take Paypal but I need to change my account so they don't charge me the percentage fee. Or if you want to pay via credit card I could leave it as is and you can pay the fee.

I would guess it would fit in one of their containers.

I am intereseted in the set up, I am looking for a little more info. is there anyone with knowledge on this engine tranny combo being installed in a fj60.

If so how about a link.

I asked my mechanic friend who was going to do the SBC in my 60 what he thought of a Tundra/LC/Lexus V8 instead & he replied "Why don't you pick something REALLY hard!"

Rod Millen put one in his 55, but then he had factory support & a $.25M budget.

Its not that bad of a deal to set these motors up for a non original installations. The hardest part is you have to sort through the wiring and figure out what stays and what goes. You just can't go out and buy a painless wiring harness for it. You don't need factory support and a $.25 million budget. You just need to be able to read a wiring diagram. But thats all done on this motor. Make a few simple connections and build your motor mounts.

The motor runs great. Starts with one push of the starter button. Settles down to a nice idle and drives great. Plus its not just another small block chevy in a (Insert Favorite Rig Here) swap.

That said I don't think I would swap it in something as heavy as a Toy wagon. Its great in a 3200 lb buggy but I don't think it would like 5000 lb+ Wagon.

If I didn't mention this the motor comes complete with the Lexus Factory Service manuals, 2 books on the car, and one seperate book on the transmission.

Pick it up now and get a jump start on your winter project.
