Lexus 4.0 V8 into early 90's Surf (includes V8 porn)

Hi guys,

My friend Vince (Bushwhacker in the link) likes to drop LS400 4.0l V8 engines into 2nd Gen Surfs (4Runner). He is now on his 5th conversion.

The early Lexus LS400 are getting cheap over here - $1000 for a running car. He then drops the engine into your Surf, giving the tatty old 2.4LTE the boot.

I'm waiting to see what people are doing for brake upgrades once all is said and done b/c I know on my Runner now it's easy to blow through them quick as pie.

FJ80 master cylinder, FJ80 front axle with brakes and rear disc conversion. Its only really a problem with in I have both transfer cases in low.
