LED's dont fit!!!!!

Before I go on a rant about these LED's (I've read fit the 80 series dome fixtures) can someone tell me how in the h*ll you put these things in and put the plastic light cover back on? It just won't fit WTF!!!! I'm about to my limit with these stupid dome lights and electrical problems and now this.

What LEDs are you using? I've read that George's fit, but I haven't heard promises about any others.

Heckler & TreeRoot both used them as well as Landspeeder(I think).

That's your problem right there. Return them and get Georges LED's. Bright, reliable and fit like their supposed too!

Wrong type. I had posted about these in the past.

The 48 led High Powered SMT Array fit my '97 dome lights. Those you have are 10mm thick versus 4mm of the 48s. I asked them which was brighter and they said the 48s.

So did you get the 31mm, 39mm, or 44mm? In the 48 led 4mm thick version of course.

Those sizes are the length of the bulb, or rather, in this case, the point-to-point length of the connection. 31mm is what's needed.

Yeah, but the 31mm I have look small like I could have went bigger. Does it look like you could have gotten the 39's or 44's to fit?

Not really, looks and feels tight on my '97. 31mm bulb is what I pulled out, so, based on that I ordered 31mm.

:whoops: I just now fully understood what you're saying. It's not the LED length it's the piece that replaces the bulb. Yeah 31mm should be right. Sorry.
