What do you mean when you say "cut the back"?

I have different taillight setting compare to most of you here :flipoff2: :D and what I mean by cutting the back of the taillight or LED taillight is.. get rid of the bulb and replace with LED PCB.

Pic 1 - This the are where I need to be cut.
Pic 2 - 1157 PCB Red LED not clear LED.
Pic 3 - All the light on but not all of them yet...without stepping on the brake lights.

wait, so how much are Arleaux's lights thru you?

My cost is not any cheaper than the one from the link that Jenny has posted. So you would be better off getting them from the guy.:)

I may have to venture out on e-bay with some of the stuff I need to get rid of. ;)

Anybody interested in the regular all-clear taillight lenses for cheap?:D

I used truck led's for my stop/tail, and turn.

I Like Those Lights They Look Good On Your Lexo. I Went To The Ebay Link And Found Some Leds That Are Almost Like Yours But The Top Half Is All White. I Think I Like The Ones You Got Better.

I'd be careful putting your specialty stuff on eBay. The lights I've been watching aren't going for much. Sheldon (IIRC) put a grey 93/94 passenger side grab bar on there not too long ago that only went for $25. I've nabbed some great stuff for my rigs on eBay. Shoulda got that grab bar too.

I've been resisting these lights for some time because of the steep price but they look way too cool!! I must say, the rig looks a lot newer as well!

I've been looking at clear marker lenses on there. I'm not sure who makes the stuff, but in your experience is the quality satisfactory?

Yeah, I am also curious about the cruise control, since a couple of the last units I've sold caused Cruise to cancel if brake was applied. I think that was a bad batch (not the same LED rears though/anyway).

Mot:)
I was under the impression that cruise was suppose to turn off if you hit the brakes as a safety precaution... at least mine has since new :)

It depends on what you'r buying. The cheap stuff on ebay doesn't fit as good as the OEM lenses do. The guy who's auctions I linked on here a bit ago sells pretty good stuff. He's in Japan. I think Mot's prices are pretty close to what he's selling for. All Mot's stuff is good. :)

Not sure which marker lenses you're talking about, but the clear front corner markers are made by Toyota. Cdan can get them for you (pre '95, IIRC).

There are aftermarket "crystal" corner markers as well.

If you're talking about the "rear" side markers, the only person that has them (again IIRC) was LX_TREME.

And finally, the side markers (or blinker lenses) that are JDM/OZ, etc... can be put on your 80 if you're willing to cut holes above your front tirewells.

I think you're right!:D
But there WAS something that the my last (current?) batch of LED rears did that cancelled cruise under a certain condition.

Jenny,

Thanks!
I've sold some junk before though (not intentionally).:D

test your cruise control when using your turn signals....curious if you have the same problem I have with LED taillights...

looks sharp tho!

Hey Woody, update on that...

I decided to cut out and remove the old trailer stuff the PO had on mine--brake booster box, who knows what else...and when all the wires were removed, I took it for a drive and THE CRUISE DIDN'T CUT OUT WHEN TURN SIGNALING!

So maybe there is a small wiring fault in there?

Whoops, I misspoke. The lenses I've been looking at on ebay are actually called Front Turn Signal Lights in the owners manual... the orange rectangular jobbers directly below the head lights. Sets of clear ones look to run about $30 delivered, but don't know, they may be no count.

I like to eventually get rid of all the orange stuff.
