My Slee rear bumper wiring harness was shorting out on a bumper bracket. Slee made everything right and I have not had any further issues. The truckgets lots of hard use in the field too.

This is great that you fixed it @Mendocino ! I'm having the same issue, but I don't have an aftermarket rear bumper, no accidents and few mods (lift and sliders). I wish there was a clear resolution to this.

Is your rig equipped with radar cruise control? If so, make sure your emblem is clean and your windshield sensors are also clean. This helped me recently with this issue on a rented Prado 150.

Yes, been compulsively cleaning the grill, windshield, and bumpers.
