LCH Seat Covers

I’m just m the verge of pulling the trigger in LCH seat covers for my 80 series 40th. I searched here and saw tons of issues from a few years ago with problems in shipping times, no communication, months without receiving product etc.

Does anyone have an update on this? Not sure if I’m bad at the search but I didn’t find any threads about the seat leathers from the last year. As someone in a business family I can actually understand the issues he may have had to some extent but I’m just curious if it’s gotten better.

So has anyone used them lately? Anyone have good experiences both in quality and shipping time?

fwiw I sent them an email in the evening and got a response in the morning. So far so good.

I just had my truck up at LCH for quite a bit of work, including new leather on the seats (with heat added using OEM switches) and cannot say enough good things about the leather. The fit and finish is excellent. I could not be happier. Thanks

Ordered back in December of 2019 before the holidays, quality of the leather was excellent. It took about 3 weeks to deliverer with Christmas and New Years included, I can't say nothing negative about the whole experience.

I've read about their problems on here, sometimes in real time.
However since then they have become very active on IG, so maybe things changed with them?

I was just up there at the shop and can attest to the fact that LCH is starting to stock a few cover sets - I think I saw a couple sets of 40th two-tone. Regardless, the production issues seem to be resolved and the quality is very good. My personal experience was very good - can't talk about any other vendors.

i kinda figured things had improved. I hadn’t seen many more recent posts but from what I gathered in the old threads the owner seemed like a good guy just overwhelmed and dealt with massive growing pains in the business.

My email was responded promptly, phone was answered, they even have an expidited option to get the seat covers shipped in 2-3 days ($125 cost). I actually went for that, they said if the selected layout is not in stock they just refund the expidited charge right away.

Pleasant experience so far and from what I can tell almost none of the complaints prior were related to quality but instead delivery times so I remain optimistic.

Will update this thread with new seat covers soon if all goes well.
