LC77/78 with 235/85r16

Does anyone here have an older LC70 with 235/85r16s?

I'm trying to decide between 235/85r16 (roughly 31.7x9.5) and 255/85r16, but can't find pictures of what the 235s will look on a 5 door older 70 series. Mine is a kzj78, but I suppose a heavy duty cruiser is the same size and can be used for visual comparision.

The problem I have is fenders. Maybe I should figure out a way to remove them. 255s have bad availability.

Are you running the stock 16x6 rims with the 0 offset? Any spacers?

Looks nice. how do they perform off-road? Ik it's subjective, but do you reckon the clearance is enough?

Off-road, on mud, and just on unpaved roads, it's super reliable, with high ground clearance and excellent grip. You simply stop worrying about tires and go wherever you want. It's very difficult to get a flat tire.
