I think the reason DTT255 is getting that variation is because he intends to have it through, or protected at least by a Kaymar bumper. I could be wrong... have been before... but he's doing some forward thinking. Don't know him well enough, but I'm sure he's already given approval to order the bumper, we just won't see if for a while. Sneaky bugger won't let us know until he's "going in to have it installed"
i've seen guys mock up a side exit exhaust on 80s, all protected by the bumper, and it's such a slick look. If you could get some tips that stick out a 1/2" through the exhaust, all the better.
