You have to have one highly calibrated finger my friend.

I probably mis-understand the meaning of " warped rotors ".

Pulsing brakes, in my experience have been caused by ridges that form on the rotors by too long a time in use or by having them re-surfaced. These ridges can be easily felt and I've long considered them " warped " though the more proper term would probably be " worn unevenly ".

I regret any confusion my use of the term may have caused.

perhaps the shop slapped on a "W in '04" bumper sticker? jk

And some tech content, are you sure you're not on a crowned road when it pulls? If you drive on the wrong side of the road, does it still pull to the right?

No problem, I was just being a smart ass. When we talk about warping, we are reffering to the rotor not being true. By that we me as the rotor rotates it wobbles or doesn't travel in a straight line. This wobble will give a pulsing feeling to the brake pedal.

Ah, the corialis effect rears it's ugly head.... Heh, good one.

If the truck also pulls left in the southern hemisphere you'd know for sure it is the coriolis effect.

Roads here in Canada are crowned, like most places, which means cars tend to track slightly to the right. My own 80 does this, as have other vehicles I've owned. This is not to say you don't have a possible problem on your hands. It is quite coincidental that this happened when you got new tires. Start diagnosing with the simple stuff.

Cheers.
