If we as a community as a whole don't get our s*** together, well all have over built mall crawlers.
This kind of stuff is happening right and left ALL OVER and we just CANT GET ORGANIZED!!!

It's a shame and apathy on behalf of wheelers is EMBARRASSING!!!

Hey Georg,

Do you think my 45 could do the rubicon now. I am considering the trip next June.

I could live with a few scrapes and dings.

That's the one Ed!!
Good read if ya have some time.

Just saw a pic of big sluice todAy... So crap... It's a highway!! At least the upper section!!
I was ASTOUNDED when I saw the pic.
They rocked it all up within the last month.

As long as it keeps the trail open. Going up there, the trail looked clean, and you could tell there has been a lot of hard work done to maintain it. Yes it looks paved, but just beyond those areas it still has its spots that are "un-paved".
Give it time. Back in 89 the box was "paved" compared to what it's become.
It's still the con, and still a beautiful place to be.
There's still a lot of places to go and wheel the most built rigs.

Nice run boys, good to see ya had some fun on the last day of what looks to be a great trail with some history........

LOL!!!
What ^^^^^^ said!! :)

Yup, mark is right. It's a trail in the high sierras. Give it a few "snows". It's amazing how things ( rocks ) get moved around by snow and ice. Plus, there will be literally thousands of rigs driving thru LS yearly. It'll get tough again. Probably not as rough as it's been, but it will turn into an obstacle again. Guaranteed!

X3. It is also great you got your rig up there for the last run of the little sluice.

So what's the chances .......

We're in the Mohave desert right now. Checked out an air museum and saw a sky crane sitting on the runway. Asked the supervisor if it was cool to check it out. He said "you bet". The maintenance crew was just getting ready to leave for lunch. I talked to them for just a minute. Turns out they're getting the chopper ready to go to Australia. Just got back from dropping rock at rubicon.
Now that's a strange coincident!

Nobody was looking ...... LOL.

Those choppers are impressive to say the least. I was stoked to get that close to one.

It's impressive to see the payload they can carry. They are amazing pieces of equipment.
