Not for sale at this time
I bought it about 2 and a half years ago from the mud member who built it. It is a phenomenally well designed and constructed piece of kit. I only offer it sale as I believe I have found something better for me and the family as I get a little older. I have to come to believe the roof top tent on an elevated platform may not be the best set up for a guy over 50 but YMMV.
I confess to using it a grand total of 3 times in 2 and a half years. Once on a brief tour of cali after buying it and 2 trips to Pismo for turf and surf. It will come with a whole host of camping paraphernalia (too much to list to be honest) and 4 spare actuators. I have also put a new tent cover and straps on last year which is why you might see two different colored ones in pics. Black cover is the new one. (I still have the old cover and zipper if you dont like the black, I changed it because it was grungy and the zipper while working was sticky)
Everything is in good working condition, actuators, lights, battery, tent etc. I did put one sizeable new scrape on one door from a misguided adventure with a hilift jack in my garage. I will try to get a pic of it. It will also come with a spray can of touch up paint in case you want to cover the "battle wound".
Price is $7000 obo, no trades at this time. It will be for sale locally at a much higher price but im hoping theres a decent mud member out there who wants it. Please don't make me sell it to a jeep guy! Couple of pics to follow.
M716 into a Camp Trailer
After all the inspiration found here and on expedition portal, we have decided to take our little M716 trailer and upgrade it to a full expedition worthy trailer. Two main inspirations: Australian camp trailer designs, especially: http://www.drifta.com.au/CapeYorkTourer.php and a home built...
