Largest/best tire to install on stock LC 2010

For what it is worth, the above photos are Michelin LTX Defender LT285 65R 18 E’s on a stock truck with no lift.

Any thoughts from the group on how they would do off road and aired down? I run them at 42PSI for the road.

looks taller! gained about an inch of diameter which is .5" of clearance? That could easily make the difference in a tight spot.

It looks like the fitment for that size would be similar to this....a 35" will clear thr body mount with a proper offset so a bit of trimming and heat molding if you're that ambitious...

After nearly 15k miles running 275/70/18 Cooper STT Pros — I've concluded that I'm not a mud terrain kind of person. But that's another story. Today I installed (5) 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's on my LX and they fit like a glove.

Seriously, I don't know why this size isn't more popular. There are so many brands at this size vs 285/70/18.

Mounted the Falken's measure right at 33 3/4" tall and just over 11.5" wide. I have zero rubbing and they are oh-so-quiet compared to the mud terrains.
